Here's the standalone Shipping Policy. I kept it transparent, legally protective, and aligned with what you can realistically deliver as a curation-based dropshipping store.

At Pawtment, we believe in transparent shipping — no surprises, no fine print, no inflated promises. Here's exactly what to expect when you order from us.


Where We Ship

Pawtment currently ships to addresses within the United States, including all 50 states. We do not currently ship to U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands), APO/FPO military addresses, or international destinations.

We're working on expanding our shipping zones. Join our email list at the bottom of any page to be notified when we ship to your area.


Processing Time

Once you place your order, our team begins processing within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding U.S. holidays). During this time, your order is reviewed, packaged, and prepared for shipment.

Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing the next business day.

You'll receive an order confirmation email immediately after checkout, and a separate shipment confirmation email with tracking information once your order leaves our warehouse.


Shipping Times

After processing, standard delivery within the United States takes 7-14 business days.

We want to be upfront about this: Pawtment is a curated small-space pet brand, not a major retailer with regional warehouses. Many of our products ship from vetted partner warehouses to keep prices reasonable and bring you products you won't find at big-box pet stores. The tradeoff is slightly longer shipping times than what you might expect from Amazon Prime.

For most orders, you can expect your package to arrive within 2-3 weeks of placing the order, including processing time.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order total. Free shipping is automatically applied when your subtotal reaches $50 — no code required.

Shipping rates and free shipping thresholds are subject to change. The rate displayed at checkout is the rate you'll pay.


Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your package. Tracking information typically becomes active within 24-48 hours of shipment.

If you don't receive a tracking email within 3 business days of your order confirmation:

  1. Check your spam or promotions folder
  2. Confirm the email address on your order is correct
  3. If you still can't find it, email info@pawtment.com with your order number

Shipping Delays

While we work hard to deliver every order within our estimated timeframe, some delays are outside our control. Factors that may cause delays include:

  • High-volume periods (holiday seasons, major sales events)
  • Carrier delays (weather, regional disruptions, postal service backlogs)
  • Customs or import processing for products shipping from international partner warehouses
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided at checkout
  • Failed delivery attempts (no one home, restricted access buildings)

If your order is delayed beyond 21 business days from the shipment date, email info@pawtment.com with your order number and we'll investigate immediately.


Address Accuracy

Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Pawtment is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

If you notice an error in your shipping address, email info@pawtment.com within 12 hours of placing your order. We'll do our best to update it before your package ships. Once an order has been processed and shipped, we're unable to redirect or modify the delivery address.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once your tracking shows "Delivered," the package is considered received. Pawtment is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or misdelivered after the carrier confirms delivery.

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package:

  1. Check around your delivery location — porch, mailbox, side doors, with neighbors, or with your building's mailroom
  2. Wait 24-48 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages as delivered prematurely
  3. Contact your local carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx) with your tracking number
  4. File a claim with the carrier if the package doesn't surface

For added protection on future orders, we recommend shipping to a secure address (workplace, building with a doorman, package locker) if porch theft is a concern in your area.


Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged, please:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and product before opening or discarding anything
  2. Email info@pawtment.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos
  3. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund — your choice

Multiple Shipments

Some orders containing multiple products may ship in separate packages from different partner warehouses. If your order arrives in multiple shipments, you'll receive separate tracking numbers for each package. This is normal and not a cause for concern.

You will not be charged extra for multiple shipments — your shipping cost is calculated once at checkout.


Holidays & Peak Seasons

During major holidays and promotional periods (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, December holidays, Valentine's Day), processing and shipping times may be extended by 2-5 business days due to increased order volume.

We'll communicate any expected delays via email and on our homepage banner during these periods.
